MANAGING DIRECTOR

Mike Griffiths is the Managing Director of CSI and has worked for more than twenty years as a consultant and educator specialising in strategy development, leadership, change and business development.

He is responsible for the development and delivery of tailor-made programmes for professionals across a range of sectors in the US and Europe and is accountable for CSI’s research into leadership, sales and change.

Following a career as a professional musician, Mike joined a spin-off from the consulting firm Booz Allen working in the IT, retail and engineering sectors on growth strategies and mergers and acquisitions.

In 1995 he became a Principal at JMW, a New York based strategy implementation consulting firm working primarily in fast moving consumer goods, engineering and IT working on strategy and change engagements to increase productivity by changing the culture. This ranged from working with retail managers on increasing store profitability, R&D teams creating ‘innovation on demand’ centres and creatives in the music industry on finding bands.

Since joining CSI, Mike has led programmes to professionals applying research from areas as diverse as neurobiology, acting and advertising. Many clients such as Nestlé, Cisco, IBM have achieved significant increases in both revenues and margins through applying these approaches.

Mike lectures at Kellogg Business School on the Executive MBA program on breakthroughs in organisational performance.

Mike completed his MBA at Henley Management College where as Student President he was awarded the highest mark in his year and first prize out of 450 international students for his research into human performance factors in business.

Outside business, Mike plays and teaches the violin and piano and used to enjoy playing weekend tennis before he had children.
